2,500 Pages in September, for Teenage Cancer Trust
Anyone who knows me will be able to tell you that I have never been very 'athletically inclined'.
My life motto is essentially 'exercise is dangerous', and whilst I often walk 10,000 steps in a day, I like to be able to do it in my own time, at my own pace, and with plenty of snack breaks and browsing time. So when my fellow Penzance Book Club members decided to take on a Reading Challenge in September to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust, I thought, I can actually do this!
So, this September, I am taking on a reading challenge and raising funds to help ensure no young person faces cancer alone. Our aim is to read 2,500 pages in one month to support the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity who provides specialised nursing care and support for young people with cancer. Any donations would be greatly appreciated!

Turning Pages for Teenage Cancer Trust 📚
Saturday 8th AugAnyone who knows me will be able to tell you that I have never been very 'athletically inclined'.
I read all the time, and getting through three or four books in a month is pretty normal for me. So, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to turn something I already love doing into something that could hopefully make a difference.
As a group, we are aiming to read 2,500 pages during September. It may sound like a lot, but between a group of book-lovers, I think we can manage it!
I’m looking forward to spending September doing what I would probably be doing anyway: getting emotionally attached to fictional characters, hiding out in magical worlds, and counting every page towards our goal. The only difference is that all the pages I read will be helping raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust.
So, this September, I will be reading for a very good reason, alongside my fellow Book Club friends. If you would like to support us, every donation will help us get closer to our goal, and would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you! 💕
