How do I sign up?

To sign up to the challenge, register for your t-shirt and fundraising pack here. Please note, t-shirts will be sent when you raise £10 or more. 

When you register, your fundraising page will be automatically set up for you.

Why do I need to fundraise to claim a t-shirt?

We are asking everyone who would like a t-shirt for the challenge to fundraise so that the costs of their t-shirt are covered.

How long will my t-shirt take to arrive?

It will take 14 days for your t-shirt to arrive. Please be patient and be assured we will get it to you as soon as possible.

Can under 18s take part?

Yes they can! While under 18s cannot join the Facebook group, they can still take part with a parent or guardian’s permission and fundraise through their page. 

What if I don't complete the challenge?

The only thing that matters is that you challenge yourself. Do as much as you can. 

Can I start late or early?

Of course! The challenge officially starts in September, however, if you would like to start early or a bit later that is absolutely fine. As long as you challenge yourself, that is all we ask.

Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

Entry Details 

  1. The prize draw is organised and promoted by Teenage Cancer Trust. By entering the prize draw, entrants agree to these terms and conditions.  
  2. Entry is open to individuals aged 18 or over who have registered for the September Reading Challenge and are fundraising on Funraisin. By entering the prize draw, participants confirm that they meet this age requirement. 
  3. Employees of Teenage Cancer Trust and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible to enter the draw.  
  4. Participants 18+ will be automatically entered into the prize draw if they have raised £150+ on their individual or team fundraising page by 23:59pm on 1st October 2026. 
  5. A maximum of one (1) entry per eligible participant.
  6. Only donations received on Funraisin pages until 23:59pm on 1st October 2026 will count towards entry into the prize draw.
  7. Individuals must ensure that all fundraising monies and donations are deposited onto their Funraisin page by 23:59 GMT 1st October 2026 to be eligible for entry into this prize draw. For the avoidance of doubt, any fundraising monies or donations deposited after this date will not be counted towards your entry into the prize draw. 
  8. Offline donations, or donations on other fundraising pages which is money that is not donated directly via the Funraisin fundraising page will not be considered.
  9. Participants must be based in the UK. 
Prize
  1. One winner will receive a stack of 10 pre-chosen books published by Harper Collins.
  2. The books are already chosen and cannot be swapped.  
  3. There are no cash alternatives to the prize and the prize cannot be sold, exchanged, transferred or bartered. 

Winner contact and Prize Fulfilment 

  1. The winner will be selected at random from all eligible participants within 14 days of the campaign closing date.
  2. The winner will be contacted using the details provided at registration within 7 days of the draw taking place. If the winner does not respond within 14 days, Teenage Cancer Trust reserves the right to select an alternative winner. The alternative winner would be drawn at the same time as the winner. 
  3. If a ‘team’ wins the prize draw, the team leader will be contacted. 
  4. Teenage Cancer Trust shall not be responsible if the drawn winner provides incorrect contact details at the time of entry.
  5. Teenage Cancer Trust reserves the right to substitute a prize if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control. 

Jurisdiction and Data Protection 

  1. This prize draw may be cancelled or amended at any time by Teenage Cancer Trust without prior notice.
  2. Personal data will be taken where necessary from all entries received where those details are reasonably necessary for the administration of the prize draw. Any personal data of entrants will be processed in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the individual's prior consent.
