Feel free to use apps like Strava or Fitbit and post updates in the group. But you don't need to provide evidence if you can't.

Updating your friends and family on your fundraising page is important! Make sure you keep them posted on your progress and share videos and photos, the more the better.

What safety precautions should me and my dog take?

add remove
You know your dog best so do think about what distance is achievable for each walk and over the month.

If 60 miles is too far, you can lower the overall target to 30 miles if you need to. Do consult a vet if you have any concerns or questions.

Please be aware of the weather and avoid walking in the heat. It might be easier to walk in the morning or evening when it is cooler. And carry plenty of water for you and your dog!

When is the Facebook group being moderated?

add remove
The Facebook group is moderated between 9-5pm Mondays - Fridays.

Can under 18s take part?

add remove
Yes they can! While under 18s cannot join the Facebook group, they can still take part with a parent or guardians permission and fundraise through their page.

Do you have any images I can use on my fundraiser?

add remove
We have images that you can share on social media to let your friends and family know how your dog walk challenge is going and to help you get sponsorship for your challenge.

Who are Teenage Cancer Trust?

add remove
Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words "you have cancer". They will each need specialised nursing care and support to get them through it. We're the only UK charity dedicated to meeting this vital need- so no young person faces cancer alone.
