September Reading Challenge

I'm taking on a Reading Challenge in September for Teenage Cancer Trust

This September, I'm taking on my own reading challenge and raising funds to help ensure no young person faces cancer alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Teenage Cancer Trust, the only UK charity who provides specialised nursing care and support for young people with cancer. I'd be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £25 could pay for an hour with a Youth Support Coordinator to help a young person cope with anxiety and isolation during cancer treatment.

Thank you!

Day 7 - an update

Monday 7th Sep
Hi everyone, we have officially hit the 7 day mark, and I have successfully completed 5 books and have started my 6th. Reading went a bit stagnant with the 4th book - I wanted to DNF but I pushed through! We’re at a steady pace and have almost reached the halfway point of my fundraising target! I am reading 25 books (more if possible!) throughout the month of September to raise money for @teenage_cancer, they: - offer unique care and support, designed for and with young people. - Fund specialised nurses, youth workers and hospital units in the NHS, so young people have dedicated staff and facilities to support them throughout treatment. - Run events for young people with cancer to help them regain independence and meet other young people going through something similar. Anything that you can contribute to allow them to continue their amazing work is greatly appreciated ♥️ https://support.teenagecancertrust.org/fundraisers/jordanriddell

Reading challenge has begun!

Tuesday 1st Sep
Day 1 of the September reading challenge has begun!

We’re going completely off script and scrapping the list of 25 books I chose - I’m going completely off of vibes 🤣

First up I’ll be reading “The First Cut” by Adam Graham Wright. I chose this because I’m big into my crime thrillers at the moment and knew it would be my cup of tea. It also only has 41 reviews so i knew it was a must!

I am reading 25 books (more if possible!) throughout the month of September to raise money for @teenage_cancer, they:

- Run events for young people with cancer to help them regain independence and meet other young people going through something similar.

Anything that you can contribute to allow them to continue their amazing work is greatly appreciated ♥️

Reading Challenge for Teenage Cancer Trust

Tuesday 25th Aug
Hi everyone!

If you don’t know me, my name is Jordan. I’ll be taking part in this Septembers reading challenge to help raise funds for teenage cancer trust.

I live in a town called Corby in Northamptonshire, in the UK. Some may have heard of us from the Netflix show “Toxic town” which is based on the true story of the Corby steel works.

In Corby, we have an unbelievable amount of childhood cancer cases arising and not enough research has been going into curing it for young people.

I am reading 25 books in September to help raise funds to help further provide specialised nursing care and support for young people aged 13-24 who have been diagnosed with cancer.

If youd like to support my challenge, feel free to donate, and if you’re unable to do so, please share with your friends!
