About me

Monday 3rd Aug
In 2016 I heard the words no one wants to hear ‘it’s cancer grade 3’ I was only 23 so I fell into the range for support from tya, there was always someone at the end of the phone or there in the hospital to so hi every time I was in. The trips out and fun days/evenings they organised helped keep my head above water in some of the hardest times. The nurses were so kind and wonderful and having a friendly face you come to know makes the hospital visits a little less daunting. There was always someone to have a cup of tea and a chat with every time I had to go get my results making the anxiety of the wait seem less daunting. The support from the nurses means more to people than anyone realises and I want to give a little back to the angels that got me through my hardest time,

I love to read and normally I can finish 3/4 books in a month so this September I am setting myself a goal of 6 books, I’m not expecting you to donate this is more for awareness of the help for teenagers and young adults going through their hardest times and a little bit of fun for me, but anything you can donate will help so much with the lives of these young people, cancer is hard enough and mentally teenage cancer trust helps us stay afloat.
