Wednesday 16th Sep The Cubs have done incredibly well with the reading challenge. So far as a Cub Pack we have read 58 books!Some of the most popular books have been a variety from the we have read are The Diary of A Wimpy Kid series by Jeff Kinney and the Bunny Vs Monkey series by Jamie Smart.
We are really thankful for the support and donations to such an important cause we have received so far. We have 42 books to read to reach our goal of 100 before the end of the month. Wish us luck!
Our Goal
Tuesday 4th Aug Hello we are 4th Poulton-Le-Fylde (Methodist) Cubs Scouts from West Lancashire!This September, we are taking on our own Read-a-thon challenge and raising funds to help ensure no young person faces cancer alone. There are 18 Cubs in our Cub pack and we aim to read at least 5 books each before the end of the month (that's 90 books in total!).
We are taking on the challenge for Teenage Cancer Trust, the only UK charity who provides specialised nursing care and support for young people with cancer. I'd be grateful for your support.
Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £25 could pay for an hour with a Youth Support Coordinator to help a young person cope with anxiety and isolation during cancer treatment.
