This September, I'm taking on my own reading challenge and raising funds to help ensure no young person faces cancer alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Teenage Cancer Trust, the only UK charity who provides specialised nursing care and support for young people with cancer. I'd be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £25 could pay for an hour with a Youth Support Coordinator to help a young person cope with anxiety and isolation during cancer treatment.

Wednesday 16th Sep

Hi everyone. So today is Wednesday 16th September and not only have I achieved my fundraising target, but I have also achieved my target of reading three books in September.

I'll continue to read because I love reading. If you haven't donated and would like to, even if it's £1.00 I would be very grateful. And it all goes to Teenage Cancer Trust.

Why I'm Doing This

Friday 21st Aug

It's really simple. It's for Steohen Sutton. Ste was a remarkable young man who lived locally to me. He passed away at just 19 after creating a bucket list of things to do before he died. He did things like crowd surfing, hugging an animal bigger than him and wanting to raise £50,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust. Well, when I last looked he had just over £6M raised in his name. And I helped raise some of that. I made him a promise that I would continue to fundraise when I could and when I saw that there was a reading challenge, it was a no-brainer. No matter how much or little you are able to donate, it all helps. Thank you.
