I'm taking on a Reading Challenge in September for Teenage Cancer Trust
This September, I'm taking on my own reading challenge and raising funds to help ensure no young person faces cancer alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Teenage Cancer Trust, the only UK charity who provides specialised nursing care and support for young people with cancer. I'd be grateful for your support.Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £25 could pay for an hour with a Youth Support Coordinator to help a young person cope with anxiety and isolation during cancer treatment.

Thursday 10th SepShare@lucybookgirlie DAY 9 of my September Reading Challenge, in support for Teenage Cancer Trust... I set myself an ambitious target of 3000 for September, which is a lot for me!! Well, as you can see, yesterday was a bit of a flop! I spent all day at work in the office, then headed straight to Wales, to get the caravan ready for our next guests. I didn't get back into the house until 11:45pm, so quickly grabbed my kindle and got a grand total of 4 pages read, but that is 4 pages closer to my target! I did get a lot of audiobook listening in though! It's a bit of a late update today, as I have been decorating most the day! Yesterday, I managed to get in 63 pages, bringing the grand total after 6 days to 651/3000 pages. It was another slow reading day for me yesterday... I was still feeling exhausted, and ended up napping most the day 😅 Not sure I will catch up today, because I have been decorating all day, but something is better than nothing right now! Yesterday, I managed to get in 58 pages, bringing the grand total after 6 days to 588/3000 pages. Yesterday was a slow reading day for me... I was so tired, I just couldn't focus enough! I did finish Fall I Want, and start my new book, The Baby Dragon Cafe though, so some small wins there! Hopefully today I can catch back up.
