I'm doing 3,000 Push Ups in November for Teenage Cancer Trust
This November, I'm doing 3,000 Push Ups and raising funds to help ensure no young person faces cancer alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Teenage Cancer Trust, the only UK charity who provides specialised nursing care and support for young people with cancer. I'd be grateful for your support.Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £25 could pay for an hour with a Youth Support Coordinator to help a young person cope with anxiety and isolation during cancer treatment.
Thank you!

Why I’m doing 3,000 push-ups this November
Friday 2nd Oct Cancer has affected my family personally. My dad died from cancer, and more recently I’ve had my own experience of cancer treatment — thankfully, nothing comparable to what many people have to go through. So when I saw Teenage Cancer Trust’s 3,000 Push-Ups in November challenge, I thought: aye, I reckon I can do that.
I’m not particularly interested in making this a dramatic story or pestering everyone I know for money. I’ve paid my own donation to take part, and if anyone else wants to sponsor me along the way, brilliant. If not, I’m still doing the 3,000.
That works out at 100 push-ups a day for 30 days.
It’ll probably seem like a substantially worse idea somewhere around push-up 1,847, but that’s November Alex’s problem.
If it helps raise even a little more for young people dealing with cancer, it’s worth doing.
