September Reading Challenge

This September I'm taking on a Reading Challenge for Teenage Cancer Trust, raising funds to help ensure no young person faces cancer alone. 

1 MONTH - 30 DAYS - 18 BOOKS - ONE INCREDIBLE CAUSE.

Anyone who knows me knows I'm an avid reader. I usually get through multiple books every month, so when I saw the opportunity to combine something I love with raising money for charity, it was a complete no-brainer.

For the month of September, I'll be taking on the challenge of reading double my monthly average meaning 18 books in 30 days.

This challenge is to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust, helping to ensure that no young person faces cancer alone.

Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity providing specialised nursing care and dedicated support for young people with cancer, helping them through one of the most difficult times of their lives.

Every donation will make a real difference.

I'd be so grateful if you could support me. Whether it's a donation, or just sharing this page as I work my way through my pile of 18 books in 30 days, every bit of encouragement means the world to me.

I've selected 18 physical books off my TBR shelves; some are new authors, some are recommendations and some are from authors I already love or are next books in series I've already started.

Honestly this has been so much fun. Every spare moment has been spent reading and believe me when I say I don't get a lot of spare moments; I'm constantly on the go.....but actually I've let some stuff go this month; small stuff can wait and I've snuggled up with a book instead.

Hubby has stepped up and done some stuff for me letting me read and bringing me a coffee to fuel the late night reading sessions! 

It's been great and I've over achieved on both how many books I thought I could get read and on the money raised, all my sponsors; you know who you are.... thank you.

I achieved more than my aim financially so I think I might also achieve more reads!

Honestly, I am so thankful for all my wonderful sponsors who have taken the time to share my page and spread awareness and those who have generously donated to my challenge.
What started out as a minimum goal has gradually increased multiple times and I have well exceeded my original aim.
Thank You to every one of you, I am humbled by all of your contributions.
I am thoroughly enjoying myself & after a day with NO reading yesterday due to being too busy all day, I am jumping into Physical Book 13 today.
I am also listening to some audio books alongside my physical books' initially this was to help me reach my 18 book goal as I knew there would be days I simply couldn't pick up a book but could still listen; however, this is actually increasing my quantity of books and in total with all the audio books I am now at book 16!!!

Half Way There!!!!

Tuesday 15th Sep
Hit the half way mark and I'm well ahead of target. 12 books and 3 audio books complete (yes, audio books still count!). My list has changed from my initial choices as I can be a bit of a mood reader and therefore changed some for others on my TBR shelf....I'll get to them all eventually!
