Reading Challenge!
Dan's Message:
Therefore, my aim for the Teenage Cancer Trust is to read 15 books in September, three more than I achieved way back in March. That's one book every two days!
Thank you to all who donate! Sadly, I have taught teenagers with cancer, one of whom lost their life far too soon. She was a brilliant young woman who just wanted to go to school and enjoy every opportunity.
Thank you again.
Em's Message:
I’m aiming to finish 5 books throughout September. My teammate and I have each set ourselves different goals that we’ll be working towards throughout the month. I have lost many family members and friends to cancer over the years. I want to honour their memories by doing something meaningful to help others going through similar experiences.
That’s why we’re raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust, to help support young people affected by cancer and make an incredibly difficult time a little easier.
Any support, whether it’s a donation, sharing our fundraiser, or simply cheering us on, would mean so much to us. Thank you!
We're taking on a Reading Challenge in September for Teenage Cancer Trust
This September, we're taking on a Reading Challenge and raising funds to help ensure no young person faces cancer alone. We're taking on the challenge for Teenage Cancer Trust, the only UK charity who provides specialised nursing care and support for young people with cancer. We'd be grateful for your support.Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £25 could pay for an hour with a Youth Support Coordinator to help a young person cope with anxiety and isolation during cancer treatment.
Thank you!
