Longridge Book Club

September Reading Challenge

The Longridge Book Club is taking on the Reading Challenge in September for the Teenage Cancer Trust!

This September, the Longridge Book Club is taking on the Read-a-thon Challenge and raising funds to help ensure no young person faces cancer alone.

We're taking on the challenge for Teenage Cancer Trust, the only UK charity who provides specialised nursing care and support for young people with cancer. We'd be grateful for your support.

When starting this book club, my goal was to do as much good for the community as I possibly could. Here, we have been presented with an opportunity to raise money for a truly valuable cause whilst doing what we all love best ... READING!

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference, with £25 being the cost of an hour with a Youth Support Coordinator to help a young person cope with anxiety and isolation during cancer treatment.

Thank you!
