I'm walking 60km with my dog in September for Teenage Cancer Trust
This September, I'm walking 60km with my dog and raising funds to help ensure no young person faces cancer alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Teenage Cancer Trust, the only UK charity who provides specialised nursing care and support for young people with cancer. I'd be grateful for your support.Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £25 could pay for an hour with a Youth Support Coordinator to help a young person cope with anxiety and isolation during cancer treatment.

17 days in and already 35km down!
Wednesday 17th Sep Today the wind and rain meant a soggy and breezy walk to the local indoor street food market. 3.5km there and back so obviously we need a pup cup for the main man and hubby and I had hot chocolate and cookies. So chuffed that we have now raised over £180. Such kindness and generosity!! I have now moved our target to £200 which will pay for 8 hours of support for young people who feel isolated and anxious during their cancer treatment!! Let's do this!! ❤️ Share
8 days in and doing well!
Monday 8th Sep 8 days in and Zeus and I are already up to 18km. Because of my fibro, we have decided to do km instead of miles, but at this rate we may make 60 miles!! It is really helping me to decompress after work and build a relationship with Zeus, all whilst raising money for a worthwhile cause. Thanks so much to everyone who has donated. Practice for the Big Event
Monday 18th Aug Zeus, the kids and I have been out every evening for the last week building up our stamina and walking distance. Calf muscles on both legs have been strapped up, stick may have come out a few times but we have really enjoyed our dusk walks watching the sunset and talking to other dog owners. Zeus is enjoying exploring the local environment where he now lives. We are only £19 off of our target already so thanks to everyone who has sponsored us so far!!
