I'm walking 60 miles with my dog in September for Teenage Cancer Trust

This September, I'm walking 60 Miles with my dog and raising funds to help ensure no young person faces cancer alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Teenage Cancer Trust, the only UK charity who provides specialised nursing care and support for young people with cancer. I'd be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £25 could pay for an hour with a Youth Support Coordinator to help a young person cope with anxiety and isolation during cancer treatment. 

Some of you may recall that pre-Covid I was a quite an enthusiastic fundraiser for Cancer Research UK via our Gig For Life days.

Well to help with my rehab from my recent knee replacement operation and to once more raise some money for a more than worthwhile cause to combat that evil disease I’m going to do my damned-est to complete the Teenage Cancer Trust’s Walk 60 Miles With Your Dog In September challenge.

In the interests of full disclosure, the TCT have said that as I’ve so recently had a knee replacement and I have 3 dogs, for every mile I walk I can count it as 3 but I aim to actually get the 60 miles in myself during September.
