Walk 60 miles with your dog in September

I'm walking 60 miles with my dog in September for Teenage Cancer Trust

This September, I'm walking 60 Miles with my dog and raising funds to help ensure no young person faces cancer alone. I'm taking on the challenge for Teenage Cancer Trust, the only UK charity who provides specialised nursing care and support for young people with cancer. I'd be grateful for your support.

Your donation, big or small, makes a difference. £25 could pay for an hour with a Youth Support Coordinator to help a young person cope with anxiety and isolation during cancer treatment.

Thank you!

Why I'm doing this

Thursday 7th Aug
Hi,
So why? Why am I doing this?

I'm on my own journey of weight-loss and being a healthier me and I find that these sponsored events are a good way to keep me motivated and moving. It also helps get these charity's messages out there.

Out of all of these charities why did I pick Teenage Cancer Trust?

Unlike the challenge I undertook in August, I do know people that have been supported by TCT and this is 1 of the reasons I chose this charity.

During a time in life when everything is changing, teenagers go through so much without the pressure a cancer diagnosis will undoubtedly add to their lives.

Even if I raise £25 that will pay for an hours consultation for a young person to speak to someone about their concerns and how to navigate going forward.

So please, show your support. It doesn't have to monetary, even just sharing my Facebook posts about this challenge might get it to someone that can donate.

Thanks in advance
Michael
