Introduction - Why?

This June, I’m challenging myself to complete 3,000 push ups in support of the Teenage Cancer Trust.

For me, this challenge is about pushing through discomfort, staying disciplined, and reminding myself every single day why I started. But the reality is, the physical challenge I’m taking on is only a tiny fraction of what so many young people facing cancer go through every day.

Teenagers and young adults battling cancer face fear, pain, uncertainty, hospital stays, and challenges most of us couldn’t imagine at such a young age. No young person should have to face that journey alone.

That’s why I wanted to do something that would test me mentally and physically, while hopefully raising money and awareness for an incredible charity that supports young people and their families during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

Every push up in June is for those fighting battles far tougher than sore muscles or tired arms. If this challenge can help make even a small difference, then every rep will be worth it.
