Why I’m Taking on the 3000 Push-Up Challenge for Teenage Cancer Trust

Cancer has affected my family for as long as I can remember. It’s a word that’s become far too familiar in our lives, not something anyone should have to grow used to.

Watching the people you love go through something so tough, seeing the impact it has on their lives and everyone around them, changes you. It stays with you.

That’s why this November I'm taking part in this challenge. It’s my way of doing something, however small.

Teenage Cancer Trust is an incredible charity that supports young people who are diagnosed with cancer. The Trust helps young people get the right support, emotionally and medically, at a time when they need it most.

I’m not doing 3,000 push-ups for the fitness. I’m doing them for the fighters, the survivors, the ones we've lost and the families left behind. I’m doing them for my nan, my auntie and other family and friends that have suffered this horrible disease, the ones we’ve lost and survived.
